Let's Get Started!

I'm so excited to welcome my students to this exciting new school year. I've been looking forward to meeting everyone and can't wait to get into our routines.

MJ2

MJ 2 will begin this year with rational numbers (add, subtract, multiply, & divide them).  Homework will be online in Digits, which can be accessed under student software on the DCPS website. Give yourself plenty of time to get your homework completed. Do not save it until the last minute. You will run out of time. You should expect your first test to occur by the end of the 2nd week, and we will have 2 quizzes before then.

HOMEWORK:
Lesson 1-1 & 1-2 are due 8/19. I will accept late homework for half credit until 8/23.
No work will be accepted after 8/23.

Lesson 1-3 & 1-4 are due 8/23. I will accept late homework for half credit until 8/25.
No work will be accepted after 8/25.





ALGEBRA

Algebra will start the year off with the foundations of algebra, which includes expressions, properties of numbers, and functions. Homework will be online in Digits, which can be accessed under student software on the DCPS website. Give yourself plenty of time to get your homework completed. Do not save it until the last minute. You will run out of time.

*STUDENTS WILL NEED TO BRING TEXTBOOKS TO CLASS STARTING DAY ONE. 

HOMEWORK:
Lesson 1-2 & 1-7 are due 8/17 and will be accepted without penalty until 8/23.
No work will be accepted after 8/23.
