Implications of Taking High School Courses in Middle School
High School Courses in Middle School:
- will appear on the high school transcript
- will award high school credit if a grade of D or higher is earned
- will count on both the weighted and unweighted high school GPA
- will count towards high school athletic eligibility
- will count towards Bright Futures Scholarship eligibility and the Bright Futures GPA
- will count towards college admissions
State End of Course Examinations
Students must pass the Algebra I State EOC to earn a high school diploma. It is also 30% of a student's overall grade in Algebra.
